Within just a 5-minute drive, you reach the Klösterlebahn, which takes you directly into the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area. With over 1,200 parking spaces directly at the base of the slopes. an ideal start to a wonderful day on the slopes.

Rising to 1,911 meters, the Gerlitzen Alpe is a versatile and popular ski area with 53 km of well-groomed pistes and modern lift systems. At the top, you are rewarded with wide, easy-to-navigate runs and a spectacular 360° panoramic view over Carinthia’s mountains and lakes, including Lake Ossiach and Lake Wörthersee.

Along the slopes, you’ll find cozy mountain huts, welcoming restaurants and lively après-ski spots. Ski schools and rental facilities are readily available, and younger guests can enjoy a dedicated children’s area – making the Gerlitzen ideal for families and relaxed skiers alike. Thanks to modern snowmaking, conditions are usually excellent from mid-December through mid-March.
